We are seeking a technically savvy Sr Cloud Engineer— Enterprise Messaging with experience in developing integration services IBM MQ in AWS, including supporting all SDLC phases for our direct client.
Responsibilities:
- Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
- Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
- Custom develops monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses.
- Provides production support including on-call rotation.
- Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Design, Develop and maintain integration services using IBM MQ.
- Experience with IBM MQ MFT
- 5+ years of recent and related experience as an MQ Architect/Integration Engineer from Design through the Implementation of technical solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Gitlab pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gitlab, Packer, Ansible).
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.
